The Southern Ohio Indoor Music Festival one of the Midwest’s premiere Bluegrass events is now being held twice annually at the Roberts Convention Centre in Wilmington, OH. You can now enjoy some of the finest Bluegrass performances in November and in March. Featured performers include:Doyle Lawson and Quicksilver, IIIrd Tyme Out, James King Band, Blue Highway, Wildfire, Don Rigsby and Midnight Call and MORE! In Santa Fe there is currently one ongoing jam, and that is the long-running monthly Acoustic Jam, which welcomes all musical styles and levels of playing. It is currently being held from 7 to 10 pm in the Wild Oats Community Room, on Cordova Road near St. Francis Drive, located off the southwest corner of the Wild Oats store. Saturday Pickin’ at Lord of Life Lutheran Church. Every Saturday from Noon to 3pm there is picking at the Lord of Life Lutheran Church. A major feature of this weekly picking is the Slow Jam…a special picking session where everything is slowed down just a bit to give the new pickers an opportunity to learn some new songs. Throughout the year there are workshops held as well as special get-togethers such as the Potluck Dinner, Spring Festivals, Picking in the Park and Picking at the Winery.
