Pickin’ Party

Spring Summer and Fall every Fri. night at the Historic town square. 7:00 pm Til ?, Winter Months at the Episcopal Church on Houston Levee Rd.

Saturday Pickin’ at Lord of Life Lutheran Church. Every Saturday from Noon to 3pm there is picking at the Lord of Life Lutheran Church. A major feature of this weekly picking is the Slow Jam…a special picking session where everything is slowed down just a bit to give the new pickers an opportunity to learn some new songs. Throughout the year there are workshops held as well as special get-togethers such as the Potluck Dinner, Spring Festivals, Picking in the Park and Picking at the Winery.

Free event with open stage and plenty of jamming. Held the 1st Saturday of every month. Located just off 58 Hwy near Harrison Bay State Park. Turn on Mahan Gap Road and start looking to the left for the Old Snow Hill School (About a mile - Snow Hill Road). It’s now a Fire Department training facility. You can’t miss it!
